The RIX Optics Pocket K2 is a compact and lightweight thermal imaging monocular designed for portable outdoor and nature observation. Weighing just 200g, its pocket-friendly design makes it easy to carry wherever you go, whether you're hiking, exploring wildlife or observing the outdoors after dark.

At its core, the Pocket K2 combines a 256×192 12µm VOx uncooled thermal sensor with a NETD of less than 25mK and a 50Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth and detailed thermal imagery while helping reveal subtle temperature differences. The 9mm F1.0 objective lens provides a generous 19.4° horizontal field of view, making it well suited to scanning wider areas and maintaining awareness of your surroundings.

A high-resolution 800×600 OLED display provides a clear and detailed viewing experience, while RIX's Resolution Enhanced Technology (RET) uses advanced algorithms to improve perceived image detail. RET is particularly useful when using digital zoom, helping compensate for the loss of detail that can occur when magnifying an image.

The integrated sliding lens cover eliminates the need for a separate removable lens cap, helping protect the lens while reducing the risk of losing a conventional cap. The Pocket K2 also features Weather Mode, which intelligently adjusts image parameters to help maintain clear thermal imagery in challenging conditions such as rain and fog.

For documenting observations, the Pocket K2 provides photo and video recording, 32GB of built-in memory and Wi-Fi connectivity. Through the RIX+ app, compatible Android and iOS smartphones can be connected for live image streaming and wireless software updates.

Despite its capabilities, the Pocket K2 remains highly portable.
