Lens Cleaning

Remove dust with a blower or soft brush first to avoid scratching coatings. Then wipe gently with a microfibre cloth, lens pen or optics wipe. Avoid household cleaners and don't rub hard.

Wipes such as Zeiss Lens Wipes are ideal for quick clean-ups, while a lens pen such as the Vortex Lens Cleaning Pen is useful for removing smudges and fingerprints. For a more comprehensive option, the Raptor Air Professional Kit bundles several cleaning tools together.

Only when needed. Brush off dust and gently clean smudges, as over-cleaning can wear coatings. Keep lens caps and a rainguard on between outings to keep lenses cleaner for longer.
