More Information

The Pulsar Symbion DXT50 Multispectral Thermal Binoculars with LRF redefine observation by delivering three viewing modes in one premium device. Designed for complete situational awareness, the Symbion seamlessly combines 4K digital day optics, 4K digital night vision, and high-performance thermal imaging, ensuring confident observation in daylight, twilight, and total darkness. An integrated next-generation laser rangefinder accurately measures distances up to 1500 metres with ±1 m precision, providing vital data at the press of a button.

At its core, the Symbion DXT50 features a class-leading 1280×1024, 12µm thermal sensor with <20 mK sNETD, delivering exceptional thermal contrast and the ability to detect the smallest heat signatures through foliage, fog, rain, and humidity at distances up to 2300 metres. Paired with a powerful 4K digital channel, it produces vivid full-colour daytime images, clear low-light performance, and high-contrast black-and-white night vision supported by a built-in, focusable IR illuminator for precise night-time observation.

Switching between channels is instant, and with Picture-in-Picture functionality, both views can be displayed simultaneously, allowing detection and identification at the same time. A bright AMOLED display ensures crisp detail, while the 50 mm f1.0 germanium objective lens provides a wide 17.5° thermal field of view and a 5.8° digital field of view. Generous magnification ranges of 2–16x (thermal) and 6.5–26x (digital) maintain image clarity for close inspection without sacrificing detail.

Built for demanding environments, the Symbion DXT50 features electronic image stabilisation to keep the image steady when tracking moving subjects or observing from uneven terrain or vehicles. Nine selectable colour palettes allow the device to be optimised for detection, identification, or long-duration observation, including a green palette designed to mimic traditional night vision and reduce eye strain.

Ergonomics are central to the design, with an innovative one-handed control ring and focus system that mirrors the feel of traditional binoculars while providing intuitive access to digital functions and smooth zoom control. The rugged magnesium alloy housing, combined with an IP67 rating, ensures reliable performance in harsh conditions, from heavy rain and snow to temperatures ranging from -25°C to +50°C.

For extended sessions, the Symbion is powered by dual removable APS5 batteries, delivering up to 8 hours of runtime, and supports USB-C external power. Integrated photo and video recording with audio, backed by 64 GB of internal memory, allows you to capture and share key moments, while built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity enable remote control, file sharing, and firmware updates via the Stream Vision 2 app. With tripod compatibility included, the Pulsar Symbion DXT50 is equally suited to mobile observation or hands-free monitoring, making it a true multispectral powerhouse for serious observers.
