The HIKMICRO T16 940nm Night Vision Trail Camera is a high-performance 4G smart trail camera built for long-term outdoor monitoring, wildlife observation and remote security. Designed for dependable field use, it combines 24MP photo output, 1080P HD video, 4G connectivity, built-in 64GB storage and discreet 940nm no-glow infrared illumination, allowing you to capture clear images and video day or night without disturbing wildlife.
One of the standout features of the T16 is its Dual-FOV lens system, giving you the choice between a focused 60° field of view or an ultra-wide 100° field of view. This makes it highly adaptable, whether you need to monitor a narrow trail, a feeding area, a gateway or a wider open scene. With a 25 metre PIR detection range, dual PIR sensors and a fast 0.4-second trigger speed, the camera is designed to react quickly and accurately when movement is detected.
For night-time monitoring, the T16 uses 2 x 940nm no-glow IR LEDs, delivering discreet black-and-white night vision without visible flash. During the day, it captures colour images, while at night it automatically switches to infrared mode. The camera records in 1080P, 720P or WVGA, with audio recording also supported, giving you a more complete view of activity in the field.
The T16 is fully connected through the HIKMICRO Sight App and HikZone ecosystem, allowing you to manage camera settings, view camera status, monitor data usage, browse photos and videos, configure transmission settings and use GPS-based features. Real-time preview via Wi-Fi makes installation easier, letting you check the camera angle directly from your phone before leaving it in position.
With stable 4G connectivity and an integrated multi-roaming SIM, the T16 can transmit photos and videos remotely across supported regions. Data plans can be managed through the HIKMICRO Sight App, with flexible options for individual or multi-device use. The system also benefits from secure European-hosted cloud storage, encrypted data transmission and compliance with modern cybersecurity standards.
The HIKMICRO T16 is built for demanding outdoor conditions, with an IP66 weather-resistant housing, an operating temperature range from -20°C to 55°C and a compact, robust body weighing just 475g without batteries. It also features 64GB of built-in EMMC storage, removing the need for an external SD card and reducing the risk of storage failure in the field.
Two power versions are available: one supplied with an 18650 battery compartment and one supplied with an AA battery compartment. The battery compartments are interchangeable with the unit, allowing the T16 to support either 4 x 18650 batteries or 12 x standard AA batteries depending on your preferred setup. For extended deployments, the camera also supports external 12V/2A DC power and can be used with optional solar panel solutions for longer-term monitoring.
