In the entire Delta Optical Forest II series, the optical system of the binoculars consists of 8 elements arranged in 6 groups , and in the construction we use high-quality roof prisms made of phase-corrected BaK4 glass , whose reflective surfaces are covered with silver , which ensures an extremely sharp and bright image . In addition, in the Forest II models, all active optical surfaces of the lenses are covered with high-quality multi-layer FMC anti-reflection coatings . Thanks to them, the binoculars are characterized by high light transmission and neutral colors of the image . Well-blackened interiors of the tubes prevent the appearance of unwanted reflections in the image and "ghosts " .
All Forest II series binoculars have a smooth-moving central focusing wheel and individual diopter adjustment in the right eyepiece. Rubber, adjustable twist-up eyecups slide out, allowing for comfortable adjustment of the glasses to the individual needs of the observer . The Forest II binoculars will withstand even the harshest weather conditions. Their tight housing allows for free use in damp terrain and even in the rain. Forest II binoculars can withstand immersion in water for 5 minutes, to a depth of 1 m, and the nitrogen filling of the structure prevents fogging of the optics inside the housing.
