The Pulsar Symbion LRF DXR50 is a true multispectral binocular system designed for those who demand complete control of their observation area, whatever the conditions. Combining 4K digital day optics, 4K digital night vision and high-performance thermal imaging in a single, premium device, it delivers seamless viewing from bright daylight through to complete darkness. An integrated next-generation laser rangefinder provides precise distance measurement out to 1500 metres with ±1 m accuracy, ensuring confident decision-making in the field.
At its core, the Symbion DXR50 features a 640×480, 12µm thermal sensor with an exceptional <18 mK sNETD, revealing fine heat signatures through foliage, fog, rain and humidity at detection distances of up to 2300 metres. Alongside this, the 4K digital channel produces crisp full-colour daytime imagery, strong low-light performance and high-contrast black-and-white night vision, enhanced by a built-in, focusable IR illuminator. Switching between channels is instant, allowing effortless transition from detection to identification as conditions change.
For even greater situational awareness, Picture-in-Picture enables simultaneous viewing of both channels, while premium 50 mm f/1.0 germanium optics deliver wide fields of view and outstanding clarity. A broad 4–32× thermal and 6.5–26× digital magnification range maintains image quality throughout, supported by electronic image stabilisation that keeps the image steady when tracking movement, walking uneven ground or observing from a vehicle.
Designed for extended observation, the Symbion offers nine colour palettes to suit different environments and reduce eye fatigue, including a green palette that mimics traditional night vision. A newly developed ergonomic control ring and focus system allows smooth one-handed operation, while the magnesium alloy housing and IP67 rating ensure durability in harsh weather, from heavy rain to extreme temperatures between -25°C and +50°C.
With up to 10 hours of runtime from the removable APS5 batteries, plus built-in photo and video recording with audio, the Symbion is ready for long sessions in the field. Content can be stored on the 64 GB internal memory or shared wirelessly via the Stream Vision 2 app using dual-band Wi-Fi, enabling remote control, file management and firmware updates. Rugged, versatile and uncompromising, the Pulsar Symbion LRF DXR50 represents the pinnacle of modern multispectral observation from Pulsar.
