Tripod head with double panning function
The uniqueness of the Leofoto NB tripod heads lies in the double panning possibility. Both the base plate and the camera plate with quick coupling can each separately rotate 360 degrees. This offers advantages if you want to quickly turn your camera without adjusting the base, but also if you want to tilt the camera while the ball is tilted. The fine degree scale on both the base plate and the quick-release coupling allows you to adjust this ball head very precisely. The panning function of the top half is controlled by a quick-release lever and the base of the head is locked by a set screw. The NB-40 is modular, and its quick coupling can be swapped for another type.

Compact and strong ball head
The compact and very strong Leofoto NB-40 ball head is made of black anodized aircraft aluminium for high strength at low weight and has a built-in level on the quick coupling. Thanks to the professional, 5 centimetre long NP-50 Arca-Swiss quick-release plate, you can quickly fix your camera to the tripod. The height of the entire tripod head is 9.5 centimetres and the total weight is only 510 grams. The base diameter is 51mm and this, in combination with the large ball diameter, ensures a high degree of stability. The 40mm thick ball is CNC machined from a solid block of aluminium and coated, making it extremely smooth to rotate. The friction of the ball is separately adjustable by a large knob and the ball of the NB-40 can tilt 90 degrees for vertical shots.
