Delta Optical Forest II 10x42 is a high-quality Binocular with a coated roof BaK4 prisms and a multiple-phase anti-reflective coating, which together generate a natural and sharp image.

These are basically daytime binoculars, although they will also fulfil their role at night. It has a higher magnification than its twin model Forest II 8x42 and thus is better suited for observing focused, distant objects. Despite the 10x magnification, it still offers the user an extensive field of view of 6.8°, free of astigmatism, chromatic aberration and coma.

Faithful colors and a bright image in these binoculars are due to the prisms made of high-quality BaK4 glass and anti-reflection coatings that cover all optical elements of the binoculars. The properly blackened interior of the tubes additionally prevents internal reflections, and the nitrogen filling prevents the glasses from evaporating in the body of the device. In addition, these binoculars are waterproof, so even for observation during rain.

Features

All Forest II series binoculars have a smooth-moving central focusing wheel and individual diopter adjustment in the right eyepiece. Rubber, adjustable twist-up eyecups slide out, allowing for comfortable adjustment of the glasses to the individual needs of the observer. The Forest II binoculars will withstand even the harshest weather conditions. Their tight housing allows for free use in damp terrain and even in the rain. Forest II binoculars can withstand immersion in water for 5 minutes, to a depth of 1 m, and the nitrogen filling of the structure prevents fogging of the optics inside the housing.
