Opticron Discovery WA ED 10x42 Binoculars

The Opticron Discovery WA ED 10x42 binoculars combine 10x magnification with 42mm ED glass objectives in a compact roof-prism design. Their wide-field optical system provides a 110m field of view at 1,000m, while the fully multi-coated lenses, PC phase-corrected prisms and Oasis-C+ prism coatings are designed to support clear, detailed viewing.

With a close-focus distance of 1.5m, these binoculars are suited to observing subjects at shorter distances as well as further away. The 16mm eye relief and three-stage twist-type retractable eyecups make them suitable for glasses wearers. A right-side click-stop dioptre adjustment allows the view to be tailored between the two eyes.

Built with an aluminium alloy and polycarbonate body, the Discovery WA ED 10x42 has full natural-rubber armour for a secure external finish. Its nitrogen-filled, waterproof construction helps protect the optical system in wet conditions. The single-axis hinge allows adjustment across an interpupillary distance range of 59–76mm.

Measuring 134 x 128 x 52mm and weighing 670g, these black binoculars feature BAK4 roof prisms and a 21mm eyepiece lens diameter. They are supplied with a soft case, rainguard, neoprene strap and rubber objective lens covers. Includes a 5-year warranty.
